What specific feeds can't you get into? All but 2 in the state of Rhode Island are showing online...

Also any pertinent error info on your end would be helpful to know
this is what I see on the RISCON(Rhode Island Statewide communications network). The DEC(decimal) should be blue, and the entire site is not 1727377103339.png
10001 should be blue to enable me to open it on another tab, or program it into a scanner. I use the computer because the scanner is $500 bucks

No, RISCON is not powered by Broadcastify. Broadcastify is just the delivery platform for listening to the system. When a DEC talkgroup is blue in the database, that indicates that the talkgroup has been captured by the Broadcastify Calls platform in the last few hours. All Brocastify Calls nodes and traditional feeds are provided by volunteers (like me).

See this post from Lindsay Blanton on why a feed/calls node may be offline:
Why is this feed offline? Why did a feed get deleted? How do I report a problem?

It looks like RISCON is provided by 2 Nodes and they both havent seen activity for 1 day. For this issue, I recommend reporting this problem to the node owner to see if they can resolve the issue as explained in the post above.

"What happens now? Am I screwed not being able to listen?"

This is the difference between relying on others to provide audio for you (Broadcastify) and buying your own radios to monitor local radio traffic. If you were to purchase a scanner (Uniden SDS-100/200 or Unication Pager) then you could monitor local radio traffic 24/7 and not be reliant on others. :)

To answer your question, yes. However someone else might be interested in adding such a feed in the future. maybe an obvious question but not sure where you are in respect to the feed location, but if you are in RI, are you not able to use a radio to receive?

I would love to use a radio/scanner, but the cost is so prohibitive, I can't afford one. This is why I rely on this system. And yes I am in Rhode Island

I certainly understand! There are some fairly good deals on used radios around but not sure if RI is simulcast..if not a good used bcd996 or 325 would fit the bill. I realize no radio comes cheap but I save money weekly in a small radio fund even after many decades for a hobby that is important to me. Good luck!

thank you for your response, and yes most of Rhode Island is simulcast on the 800.

Yes, I agree and say that the SDS100/200 is the way to go with a heavy simulcast system. You can try the 325/996 or even the 436/536, though I haven't had much success with either. The SDS100/200 is where the simulcast systems in my area shine. But then again, it comes with a heavy price tag. I have one 100 and two 200s, all with add-ons, so it is almost $800 each for me.

You would probably need a Uniden $D$-100/200 to receive it reliability. I live in MA on the outskirts of the system, and I'm able to get the north site on my old $70 PRO-197 using a Watson pre-amp. This is only because the other site locations are so far away that I can't get them so no simulcast jamming for me.
