For years before i started with proscan, I used a simple icecast server for outside listening, when I started with proscan, it has the option of running a feed to another server so i setup icecast, it ran fine for a long time, with the same setup, no modification was needed. Now for some reason I can't quite fathom, proscan will no longer connect to icecast on the internal network.

'Unable to connect to Icecast2 server-Error code 9-System IO Exception:Unable to read data from the transport connection.A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time.'

I am by no means a wizard, but I have maintained these servers for a long time.

I would check the Icecast config then check the Source Client config and make sure the address, port, and mount are correct. If it still fails then check your antivirus software by temporarily disabling or adding an exemption.

Appreciate that, however there is no AV software running on debian. Normally I would have resolved this by now, but the config hasnt changed in months, possibly longer. icscast it self starts normally, just seems as though proscan doesnt like it for whatever reason. maybe a debian update,I'd have run it on another machine to be sure.

Update- works like a charm on ubuntu, just not debian, likely related to an update.
