Hello all,

I have recently been listening to air transmissions, and i usually hear 125.825 (KC ARTCC) regularly. However, i only hear one side of the conversation. Ive tried searching for it but couldnt find anything.

Does anyone here happen to know what frequency the other side of this conversation would be on?

im new to the whole AM aircraft monitoring stuff and im looking to learn more.

Thanks to you all for your help!

Hi "ITW,"
Check the database here, under OK and then KC ARTCC. Keep in mind, tho, that unless you're CLOSE to a terrestrial station you'll only hear the aircraft side of any exhanges.

Hello MFD. Thanks!

I had looked throught the database but had missed the link on the oklahoma page near the bottom for the 3 ARTCC's listed there.

I guess ill stick to listening to the aircraft side. Im in smalltown bartlesville, so i dont beleive ill hear the station.

Thanks again for you help!

You're welcome! But don't miss my point: if you program in those freq's you'll hear aircraft calling towers, en-route centers, etc...
Best regards,

Unless you are pretty close to the transmission source, you will typically only hear the AC side of things due to altitude. Most Centers use remote repeater sites also.
