can ne one tell me what and how to get the specific freq for a county that is on analog i know that freq but the sumtimes say switching to 800 what does this mean and why wouldnt they always use it if its 800mhz instead of just on occasion this is a LE freq

More than likey they are using talkgroups on SAFE-T which just about every Co in INDIANA has but some just don't use. SAFE-T has some analog and some digital traffic and is TRUNKED so just tuning to a 800 mhz freq may not do you any good. Does this have to do with DAVIESS CO?

you will need a digital scanner like the PRO-106 cause all their talkgroups are "D" or digital.
