I have been playing with trunk88. works great!!!!! I put all the right frequencies in for the fleetnet tower that I am monitoring. But when I have a ID hit how do I cross reference that ID with the talk group that I pick up on my scanner display?
You should see the sam TG in T88 as on your scanner. If you have th display on the scanner set to just show some thing like 2OPS32 then use the DB to cross ref the ID numbers like 8800, for example. (Those may not match but are just exmples.)
ANd has any one put in more than one site with different control channels and tried scanning them. like CC harrowsmith CC morton CC mountain grove CC drummond center??
I have several CC's in my scanner but you can only lock on to one at a time and push the info to T88. I change around every so often just for interests sake.
If you nose around I think you will find some info on running multiple instances of trunking decoders with multiple sound cards. Can't say right off whether you can do it with T88.
