For me, advanced editing and posting works. Quick reply still isn't working properly.

Apologies to the forums moderators team as I reported a thread to advise of this situation, before noticing this thread.

For what it's worth, I used "quote" to try to post this, and added a title to my post; hit "Preview Post" to see if it would appear, and it didn't. So I am typing this again now without a title, not putting in the quoted section, and will preview again.

I previewed and saw my text, then decided to add/edit something, and previewed again - text was gone. Hit the Back button so I would regain my text, hit Preview again, and my text returned. Now I'm adding this update, and I suspect I may need to hit Preview once or twice to ensure it appears. Seems like it is hitting on one bad "server" every x attempts?

EDIT: I hit "Submit" to post this, and it didn't appear. Immediately I hit "Edit" and added my text (I had copied it to my clipboard before submitting). It then appeared properly after I saved.

The posts people have made in various threads - will they remain blank, or will the text appear once this is resolved?

It seems to still be doing it,I will press reply to a thread and type my text and then post it.And the post will be blank,even if I edit it,it will still stay blank.I have seen other people's posts blank to.

Is it a bad server connection?

It is not solid. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I will edit a post, sometimes only my link (part of my reply) is there, but nothing else. Other times it works. I am able to post by composing my messages offline and then pasting them in.

Unfortunately Lindsay there's a post in http://forums.radioreference.com/ontario/241152-bellfleet-radio-system-question.html#post1760679 that was sent ~10 minutes after your quoted one above, that's blank. (And this had to be edited 3x to get it to post.)

Pretty sure that they are gone for good. At least that is what appears from those posts of several days ago.

ETA:
BTW, when I first posted this response, it did not post; just a blank, but since I had copied he whole post, I hit <Edit> pasted and <Save>, which worked.
It occurred to me only later to add this comment.

when it occurs it can take 3-5 to 20 edits to retype info, been using cut-n-paste before sending messages, to be able to go back and make edits.
