R30 R30 antenna upgrade?

I just bought a R30 and I am absolutely amazed at this piece of equipment. Feels great in the hand, easy to learn, and reception that blows me away every time I turn it on. Particularly the airband, which is my preferred listening. Even with just the stock antenna, I’m sitting near a window tonight listening to low level traffic 20mi away, and high altitude aircraft 100mi away! I’m in Nassau County, NY and listening to an aircraft 39000ft over Philadelphia (according to FlightRadar24).

How can I make this even better? Are there any aftermarket antennas I could add to get even better reception and/or longer distance? I live in a house but am not capable of mounting something to the roof. Either something portable or a larger antenna to set up in my backyard (or inside if that’s a thing).

It has two tiny nylon loops on the back. I just hung it by the top loop on a small picture hanger (for now). I wanted to make the location worked well before I did anything else.
