Good morning.
One of the capabilities I was hoping for when I purchased the R30 was reasonable reception of P25 simulcast signals. Obviously, I didn't expect to track those trunked sysems . . . I already have a Uniden SDS100 and a Unication G5 for good simulcast reception and trunktracking.
So far, my experience has been that the R30 seems to be able to hear simulcast traffic when it's sitting on a single memory frequency, but not when it's scanning memory channels.
Has anyone else experienced this? If so, is there a programming solution in there somewhere that I'm overlooking?
The simulcast system in question is a Harris UHF (406-420 MHz) network with 14 output frequencies that I've programmed conventionally as P25 channels in the R30. The SDS100 and G5 track the system perfectly.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Thanks!
