What radar software has been most effective for you when you are out storm chasing or storm spotting.
What other forcasting tools do you use?

I use RadarScope for the iPhone it's one of the best Weather applications for the storm chaser to use. Trust me it's worth the $9.99 price in the Apple app store.

I have to agree on gr level 3. That and Allison house for data I never have issues. I have a droid and I find pykl radar to be better for me, it seems as it was designed with chasers in mind

I'll add my vote for RadarScope on the iPhone.

I tried another app called MyRadar, but I found that the alerts were not at all timely. I would receive severe weather warnings as they were expiring. I got a notice on the formation of Tropical Storm Chantal about 24 hours after it was issued. That was when I decided to delete the app.

For mobile, I definitely agree with radar scope. With their most recent updates, it has really improved the app.

Works very well with Allisonhouse subscription. Well worth the $10. I've been monitoring the price of RadarScope and its never went on sale in 18 months.

If you have the ability to carry a laptop then GRLevelX otherwise for iPhone or iPad then RadarScope as others have mentioned.
