What is 'Radio ID Alert' in Win500? I'll ask this in the PSR500 too. Thanks in advance for your replies.

When the Radio ID Alert option is enabled, and a transmission is recieved that includes a radio ID that you have programmed into the radio as a Private Object, the radio will use the alert settings of the radio ID instead of the alert settings of the Talkgroup (assuming it's a group transmission and not a private call).
This only works on those transmissions that the radio is able to detect a Radio ID.

Cool, I'll experiment with it today. I'm hoping that it doesn't change the entire systems settings, meaning that normal talkgroups AND radio id's can be scanned at the same time. This could be great if I could avoid all the fire calls and just listen to my neighborhood pumper.

No impact on your entire system.
I don't know of a way that you can only listen to your local pumper, but you can alert if they talk and your trunked system supports it.
