Regarding the Pro-43 key pad, this is a common failure point for that scanner. Search here and I think you'll find that those keypads are no longer available through Radio Shack. I am sure you'll find the part number and validate that for yourself with Radio Shack either there in the UK or here in the US. There were several threads about restoring the keypad functionality using a pencil eraser or similar at one point. Again. Google it or better yet, search this site. I am sure its here.
