Ebay has a lot of 668s, 106s, 651s. Some great prices lately, most all under $200 on final auction price.

The Repair Depot is gone .... it was actually closed down some time before the bankruptcy and had nothing to do with it.
HOWEVER - now this is JUST A RUMOR ......
It has been RUMORED that there are talks with a third party vendor to provide repair services.
That ;s all I was told .... not sure if this will be some kind of " in store " thing to replace the " Fix IT " stations or some sort of network of regional facilities,.
AGAIN .... the about at this point is nothing but a RUMORE being whispered among Radio Shack insiders.

Yeah at AUCTION.
If you notice they are selling for more in BUY IT NOW deals.
The conclusion I draw from this is that there are many many buyers who do not want to play the auction bidding war game.
I've seen some 668's go at auction for less than $200 while an hour before or after they sold for $275 under the BUY IT NOW program.
Of course BIN deals did include Free Shipping / Handling / Insurance
Auctions at times make the winner pay for shipping.
Well today I got 3 Pro-651s and 1 Pro- 652 for $120 a piece. It was worth the wait. 4 pk AA rechargeable batteries for $3.60 a piece. I bought 25 pks. Good shopping day.
Bubb, was it a special one day sale or possibly "clearance" priced?
Finally the price has come down to $150 for the Pro-668 at my store.

Well it was clearance and she found 5 more today and I went and got them. $120 was to much to pass up!

One of our local stores has a couple of 651s left for $120 each. Fighting the temptation to go buy them is NOT easy. :lol:
Looks like some of you are getting some killer deals out there. I will have to check out my local RS see what they may have on clearance! I got my PRO-668 a couple of months ago for $250 and I was happy with that. At the time it was only advertised at that price on their webpage. I printed a copy of it and took it to one of my local RS but they did not have at that price at store but the clerk price-matched it for me at that price!
Buddy if mine just picked up the Pro-668 for $150. They told him that is the lowest it will go and if they don't sale then they will move them to another store. Too bad I don't need another one.

FYI for those in the Florida Panhandle. The Radio Shack at Uptown Station in Ft. Walton Beach still has 2 Pro-668 for $150 each and the Uniden 396XT, Pro-651 & 652 in stock. I know there are a few locals in the area that are RR members.
