My favorite lamp. Expensive though. ;)

I built the desk on the left side first. Learned from my mistakes (a lesser quality piece of plywood for the top) and built the 2nd desk on the right to fit the width of the room (10'x10').
That 13" monitor is gone now and replaced with a Panasonic copier/printer/scanner, moved the Laptop under that two level shelf/platform, bought a Tektronix Signal Level Meter off e-bay to put in it's place, moved that HD tuner to above the amp and upgraded the Spectrum Analyzer with a Aeroflex 2399A.

Nice setup. It is nowhere messy enough to be a mad scientists lair though. If this is your rooms normal state, I commend your discipline.

Wondering about the PVC roof pass thru, I have not seen that before. What does the outside/waether Portion consist of?

For the most part, except when I'm working on a project, this is the way the room looks.
A place for everything and everything in it's place,
When in doubt, throw out.

I used a 'L' and a short piece of pipe above the roof. I didn't glue either because I needed to remove both pieces to snake additional cables through. Besides, it wasn't necessary to do so. It's makes thing very easy to add or remove cables and keeps most of the cable runs out of the sun. ;)

BTW, I have had some snow on the attic floor, but very little and not often. ;)

It was a Instek GSP-810 w/ tracking generator. It is being replaced with a Aeroflex 2399A
There is one on e-bay for around $1300 (w/ TG). Great price. 1/2 of what I paid new.

Oh OK, that's why I didn't recognize it... No thanks... I'm holding off for a new Anritsu site master. I already sold a few organs to afford it.
