K I ordered both the RAM mount and the Lido mount. I will let yew guys know how it works out. If I could figure how to post pics here, I would do that as well? But I always get the upload FAILED. :(
There are severeal mounts on the internet which allow talkies to be mounted to bicycles or motorcycles. These are quick release mounts also. Tom Btw, it's You not yew.

Lido mounts tend to be super generic one size fits all, I personally do not like the plastic they use either . What rigs do you want to run , and what kind of chair is it ?,as for the cut and paste issue you know there's a simple computer emulator for both macs and Windows or Android that allows you to control a computer device with the joystick ,it's a P&G module that can integrate into almost all there drives, you can actually find on you tube destructions for hooking an HF rig up to a hoveround ( why put a radio that is 10 x's the quality on a hoveround I'll never know ?).again what ever you run as far as radio or antenna don't compromise on the grounding, and also don't mount the radio on the same side as the controller because it will throw a ton of hash onto 2/70 , although I had a better signal wheelchair mobile on HF than I will ever at home, thanks to all my neighbors and there cheap plasma TV'S.

I had an ICOM 7000 on my chair until just recently when I swapped it out for a Kenwood 710g, I drive an Amy systems and they have a device holder that fits right into the armrest (Co produced by RAM) it holds my tablet and control head nicely , Army's are also one of the 2 chairs made that can accommodate a third battery in the tray without being any longer or wider, no more playing radio on my mobility batteries, my radios and computers and such have there own battery ( this way I don't void the chair warranty either) the key to a good install is lots of ferrite on the control lines, I used the 7000 with a tarheels hp screwdriver antenna for HF and a diamond nr770 for 2/70. I also pack the F6A's big brother the 74a.
Wheelchairs and radio are not that big a deal .

I would love to see pics of that! Would anyone like to see pics of my solution?

I would love to see pics of ham radio attachments for wheelchairs. I have limited walking and us an electric wheelchair to go attend events that acquire a lot of walking. Sounds Cool and have thought of it many times.

I will see about posting pics. It is obvious from his post that he and I both took a different approach. But that in itself is kinda kewl because now y'all might get to see both of them. :)

I am in a situation similar to yew. I can walk, but not well and not far. :(
