Well, 156.225 is EMS alert simulcast which was designed for countywide coverage. The RFD alert frequencies are only designed to cover the city of Raleigh. Also, there is a main, south, and west frequencies. Each of those frequencies has a different coverage area as well and only designed to cover the city.

Headquarters is 154.3700, from Wachovia/WellsFargo/FirstOnion building downtown. 159.000 is HQ West, at Leesville Road water tank. HQ South is 151.11500, at Capital Towers on Six Forks Road (yes, it's physically north of HQ, long story, won't make sense, just accept it). Those licenses are held by the City.

156.22500 is a County frequency.
