After purchasing a Uniden BCD436HP to use as my primary scanner, I'm looking at other uses for my PRO-106 scanner. I have several Raspberry Pis in the house serving different functions. I would love to be able to attach my PRO-106 to one of them and remotely control it. This will be useful for when I would like to listen to radio traffic at my home when I'm out of town.
The only problem, I'm not finding any software cable of doing this. I thought about running my copy of Win500, but the Pi can't run WINE reliably. I found this Chrome app, Scanner Monitor, for the Uniden scanners and was wondering if there's anything similar for RadioShack/GRE scanners.
