Seeing a neighbour of Toronto East/West, site 126. 421.3625 is the control channel, I can see a tip of a P25 signal on it but not enough for a decode.

I'm finally finding site 126 around midtown Toronto. The neighbours are all the other Toronto sites - perhaps this is the TTC site?

Solid signal in one spot near open subway tunnels, zero signal two blocks over.

I am picking up the Mississauga site (Site 96) and see that the Airport site (112) is currently failed/isolated but also I see a new site that not listed.

Site 119, Channel 4-1227 421.4375

I am not sure where this site is as I can't hear it from my local.

I'm here a lot
The new unknown site is exactly the same control channel as Pearson.

Gave it a try today and 421.0875 working in the area Rideau Lakes and the 1000 Islands.

TALKGROUPS...1209 1211 1215
1209 [KID=2013(8211)Alg=AES-256]
RID's 4272954 4272912 4274910 4272665 4268649

I see from today TG 1209 (RID 101002, 4266220, 4272982) with 7 hits & 3 on TG 1215 (4262826, 4268213, 4283091) on the Mississauga site.

Also on Mississauga's tower, I see two TG's I haven't seen before 4601 (23 hits) & 4701 (12 hits)
RID's for 4601
101003, 101004, 2500834, 2512165/2170/2175/2180/2181, 2512258
RID's for 4701
2578088/8091/8097/8098/8110/8114/8119/8127/8129
Any idea who these two TG's are? With the RID's of TG1209 and TG 4601 being so close they could be related.

I am thinking the 1xxx TG's are use for daily operations. I see 1017 (59 hits), 1018 (34 hits), 1019 (846 hits) being used on Mississauga's tower.

It looks like Site 112 is no longer a neighbour for Site 96 (Miss) but Site 119 is still a neighbour for Site 96 (Miss) so it looks like Site 119 is a replacement.

I noticed today that Site 112 (421.4000) has reappeared on the neighbours list for Mississauga but currently is listed as failed/isolated once again.

This is what i am seeing for 10100x RID's for the Mississauga/Hamilton towers.

TG 1017 RID 101001 (35 hits) & 101003 (72 hits)
TG 1279 RID 101002 (97 hits) & 101004 (94 hits)

I believe 101001 was last seen by me on the Hamilton tower and 101002/03/04 on the Mississauga tower.

I was using somebody's remote SpyServer in Ottawa CA this morning monitored some BEE00.99B stuff that wasn't in the DB.

All the CC signals that I copied were around 20-35 db SNR from the monitoring location. I don't know if these weren't in the DB because the specific locations couldn't be pinned down, or if they weren't in the DB because nobody found them before now. Probably the former.

At any rate, I copied sites: 1.136, 1.137, 1.138, 1.144 and 1.145 direct. I submitted the info to the DB.

For those out in the eastern part of the province. The sites can be located by checking the signal strength of the control tower. Chances are that you will be close to at least one and the city/town it is in. The other way of locating a site is to use the neighbor list and known sites as a reference. If an unknown site is neighbored to several known sites, then we can assume its located somewhere in the middle of those sites. Using a map will then let us locate the town or city in that area.

The RCMP system uses control channels in the 421-423.5 area. If you have DSD it will capture not only the site number but all the neighbors sites as well. mtindors post #36 above is a capture of the DSDPlus.P25data file from the DSDPlus folder. If you do not have the time to filter the data and you have captured some of the local RCMP sites you can post your DSDPlus.P25data file here and I will filter out the neighbor sites and associated frequencies and get it uploaded to the database.

FYI the TG list is pretty limited because the system is 100% ENC with AES. Adding to the fun is the fact the ENC keys change fairly regularly. If your running current Fastlane and using TG following you will see the KID change for the TG every now and then. We can log the active TG even though we do not know the specific user.

Has anyone checked the Walsh tower lately to see if they have changed equipment yet as they are still listed under the old info?

The spyserver I was using is listed on airspy.com. If you go there you can use it (and you can see whose name it is listed under in case one of you know the guy). It says the spyserver is in Ottawa CA.

From the Ottawa CA area spyserver

I was able to get full decodes of 1.135 and 1.142 (142 was already in DB). I submitted 1.135

Strongest to Weakest

Code:
1.145 421.125 40 dB SNR
1.144 421.225 35 dB SNR
1.137 421.05 32 dB SNR
1.138 421.1375 30 dB SNR
1.136 421.575 22 dB SNR
1.135 421.100 15 dB SNR
1.142 421.45 12 dB SNR
1.108 421.3625 8 dB SNR

I can see the CC 421.3625 (Site 1.108) but it isn't strong enough to decode
