IIRC, 10-95 is the "are you OK" check.

Thought so. We set a timer. You don't answer, we call.

The cars transmit on VHF input frequencies which are similar to the output frequencies. They're in the same band but there's no rhyme or reason to how the VHF band is laid out, unlike UHF.
I can guarantee that the frequencies in the system are between 150.8 MHz and 174 MHz. That's about all I can offer you.

If you want freak out a member, follow him :) Might get yer *** arrested too. But I thought their car to car freqs would we listed here, as everything else is listed here too.

Kenmount EDACS.
What is id:05-026? I knnep getting in my id search. Can't find a listing. Sounds RNC, but they are digital and blocked/encrypted?

Sites

Geographical question: Just wondering if Four Mile Hill and Hawkes Hill as listed in the EDACS database could possibly be two sites operating at the same location. I could only find a Four Mile Pond, which is adjacent to what I thought was Hawkes Hill. Wondering due to the fact that I have frequencies for both sites however audio at one site is crystal compared to the other.

I looked them up on Google maps recently too. They are close to each other. 4 mile pond is behind the old Bluefin Ultramar station.
I know from 20 years ago when pagers were popular that 4 mile pond was set up as a site to cover a blind spot on the TCH west of Holyrood.

Hawkes Hill appears to be closer to Holyrood. Maybe it was set up to cover Conception Bay. The RCMP in Harbour Grace ping off Hawkes Hill. I never hear them on 4 Mile Pond.

It's funny how these repeaters work. In St. John's, everything comes through Shea Heights, but geographically I am closer to Kenmount Hill. Maybe Kenmount Hill is pointed elsewhere so everything comes through Shea Heights in St. John's. But once out on the highway, RCMP Hbr Grace comes through 4 mile pond.

Is it my scanner (Uniden trunk tracker) that decides where it finds the signal?

I'm still scratching my head on how RCMP Hbr Grace comes through 54 mile pond when Hawkes is closer. The signal from 4 Mile Pond is very bad in Hbr Grace. Bell Island or Hawkes Hill would be closer.
