Reaction Tune with Opto Scout 40 & R30 Works !

Thanks tumegpc. I didn't have the CI-V transceive on but when I turned it on that didn't make a difference. I am in vfo mode with dual display. Is that correct?

Based on my experience this will end up being something silly that I am overlooking. Like the sequence in which I power on the two devices or some quirk on the Scout that I am missing. In the mean time it's sort of fun trouble shooting but I predict that fun will wane before long.

I just did a test. I have the Scout -Filter ON or OFF -Capture OFF
You need to use B-VFO . It will not work in A-VFO.

What I discovered is you can also do Reaction Tune while Searching or Scanning in dual mode ! And when Reaction tune receives a signal you'll still hear both conversations.

****Just added- Make sure you're in FM or FM-N mode - I was in NXDN and could see it was receiving , but no audio .. When I changed it to FM you could hear audio.
