Rebanding in Maryland

It is rebanding for the other jurisdictions that have been rebanded that are authorized in the Anne Arundel County radios. Just cause Anne Arundel rebanded AA frequiencies does not mean that Anne Arundel is not affected by the other jurisdictions that are in the process of rebanding around Anne Arundel.

Are you referring to things like the 800 Mhz interop and detention channels? Those would certainly need to go through rebanding if they're still using the old ones.

Just like their trunked counterparts, they would need to be dropped by 15 Mhz.

That is part of it; but also the DVRS frequencies. But I was specially referring to all of the jurisdictions in the Baltimore Metro area that have re-banded with in the last 18 months or so. there is not just AACo tgs in the radios, but frequencies and tgs for all of the surrounding jurisdictions as well. And obviously a lot of those jurisdictions have re-banded ; so now we have to re-program our radios to match those jurisdictions.

Are they just rebanding or are they also changing any of the talkgroups (more encrpytion, etc)?

The only difference I can see is that 11-F (Teletype) is now encrypted.
