Can anyone with experience subscribing to the various national and regional incident paging or notification services suggest which might be the best for the Phoenix metro area? Some of the service Web sites seem out of date or abandoned or not really providing Arizona alerts. Thank for your help.

I'm a reporter for BNN and I know that there are a hand full of others in the valley. However, with being volunteers there are times incidents are missed. If you want to become a reporter then the service is provided free. I have alerts texted to my cell for all of Arizona including weather alerts from the NWS.
