When I record signals specifically long periods, 2-5 minutes, when I press end recording it says something along the lines of no recordings or 0 recordings, anyone else have this problem or any idea what is wrong, thanks for any help

Are you referring to the RECORD function or the REPLAY function? Record is started when you press FUNCTION and REPLAY/RECORD then E/Yes. Pressing the same key combo stops the recording. Regarding REPLAY, you need to set the replay duration via MENU > SETTINGS > REPLAY OPTIONS > SET REPLAY DURATION. Max duration is 240 seconds (or 4 minutes). So you're saying that though there are active transmissions when you start the recording, when you stop the recording, there aren't any audio files?

What month is it?
You still have to press the function button first to turn off the recording - and it will ask you to confirm, then ask you if you want to save the files. If you are not getting these 2 prompts, you are NOT pressing the function button first....
