What I don't understand is why a $600 scanner world not be compatible with my computer?? I have Windows 7 and plan to keep it. I would really like to learn this new whistler, But if it won't work with Windows 7 then whistler will have to make it work or take it back. This is a software issue, so it's not like I can send it in for repair. There is nothing wrong with the scanner. If anyone thinks I'm going to get stuck with a $600 paper weight...I'm not. By the way, the SD card that came with this scanner has no name on it that I could find. However it seems to work okay inside the scanner. Thanks all. Greg
