Iam having a problem with my old scanner. When I plug the antenna in all the way and it goes into a little metal ring inside the scanner, it sounds like the squelch is turned up too high. When I back the antenna out of that little ring the noise stops, but it doesn`t pick-up like it used to.Does anyone have any ideas ?
