I recently renewed my sub to DSD+FL, but the program is unstable / not functioning correctly. I have missed several intermediate updates, but I *thought* I went back and installed them all, but I guess I haven't. Any suggestions on how to recover? Some symptoms are: the program reports 3 sdrs when only two are present, and the program tends not to use the 2nd (voice) sdr, instead it retune the control ch sdr to a traffic channel.

Did you also update to the newest base files? Go to the MISC tab in DSD+ and it is the bottom entry, several updates ago those had to be updated and it caused some issues for those that did not update them.

That sounds like an SDR installation / driver issue. Extra device(s) can show up if you don't do the Zadig thing properly. Maybe someone else can provide more guidance.

Sounds like you're running in single receiver mode.

The sdrs are installed to work with ut2, which they do. It does act like it is being run in single receiver mode, but I’m using the same bat files I used previously when it worked properly. strangely, it does use the second sdr sometimes, but it happens randomly.

Attached are the bat I use to start the program, and the fmp window that seems to indicate a 3rd sdr when only two are physically attached - #2 & #3 (with the serial numbers) are real.startdsd bat.PNGFMP24 In.PNG

rn, the second sdr for the traffic channels seems to be working properly; the audio is not as good as it used to be (awfully subjective, ikr) The same setup works well with sdrtrunk and ut2.

Do you own an SDR with serial # 00000003 ?
If so, has it - at some time in the past - even been plugged in to this PC?

The two Nooelec sdrs ( x2 and x3) were assigned serial numbers by me (I think I use rtltool.) They work properly with sdrtrunk and Unitrunker 2, and both those programs only see 2 sdrs installed.

I just made sure I updated the base files; same issue with the phantom sdr, but the last few restarts has sdr x2 steady on the cch, and x3 tuning freely. Audio is still kinda warblely,

I'm going to delete other sdrs that have in the past been used on this machine using the hidden device view in Device Manager to see if that makes a difference. I'm wondering if DSD keeps a log / configuration of previous sdr devices used with the program?

I would guess in the DSDPlus.bin file.
