Replacing the whistler 1010 need suggestions

So my 1010 whistler crapped out on me, wouldn't power up and I tried even a electric plug no dice so I decided I wanted to get suggestions for another hand held scanner I can take with me when I travel around san juan county, watcom county, skagit county, when I travel to Snohomish, piece, king or kitsap I usually take my 436. but o like to have a scanner for the weather as well as know whats going on when I am out and about.

So any suggestions for a new uniden? oh and I do not want a sds 100, and 2 is my birthday is coming up in a few weeks so I want to treat myself.

From looking at the database for your area; I see there is convention P25 and 4 trunk systems. The state DOT trunk system is P25 Phase 2 so
I'd suggest a BCD325P2. It covers P2 and if the DMR systems interest you, there are upgrades you can
purchase if needed.

Hello all, my whistler 1010 died and I was looking to replace it, everyone knows I live in San Juan County and I pick up analog, so does anyone have any suggestions for an everyday carry scanner I can take with me everywhere, I travel to Skagit, Whatcom counties as well.
