Add Channel Button is Greyed out. Does the radio need to be connected for the additional menu items to show? Had asked Santa for DMR upgrade and Proscan license. Was trying to get a head start on programming.

No, not at all. I posted those pics as I went along and I do not own that radio. If it's greyed out, I suspect you need to click on the group you created so it's highlighted in blue, then click add channel.

Assuming each Dmr frequency is treated as an individual system?
If you're aware of each talkgroup being carried on its own timeslot (For example, TG-1 only on slot-1 & TG-2 only slot-2) and you wish to do a channel hold on either talkgroup then it's best to program as OFT. Same applies if one slot is devoted to voice & the other for data (like LRRP) If traffic is only carried on one talkgroup & heard on one or both timeslots then you can program the frequency conventionally and be fine

I have been trying to follow these directions but, my Proscan page looks different and doesn't have all of those options? Am I doing something wrong? Do the selections/ page look different because my scanner is a sds200?

The options will look differently depending if a system, department, site, channel, or trunking frequency is selected too.
