Rescue Fire

Per CDF Camino they are working a fire in Rescue. They only have one engine on the fire right now because they are out of local resources. Structures are threatened and they have called for more units but they are a ways out. Disp was very busy and that was all they could say.

Sac Metro dispatch confirms that they have sent one strike team to Rescue. At this time that's all they're sending.

Listened to this as best I could. Sounded like 4 strike teams sent (one from Sac), 28 engines, 3 or 4 dozers and several water tenders. ED Sheriff was working to evacuate Lakeview Dr., Hillock Dr. (Location of fire), Springvale Dr., Pleasant Ranch Rd and a few others. Lots of homes there. One structure lost. 12-20 acres. Evac center Gold Oak School.

Funny,(not the fire)
in s.f.chron, they had an article about the early fire season down south and how cal fire and u.s. forestry are already gearing up.

I guess hasn't happened up north yet.

My mom called when I was out of town for the weekend and said they were getting water out of our backyard from this lake with the helo.
