The Ridgewood Board of Education just approved a contract with Motorola Solutions, Inc. for the installation of a new DMR radio system.
The proposal calls for the installation of 13 UHF 2-way radio repeaters and the deployment of 195 portable 2-way radios.
A repeater would be installed at each of the District's schools, and one (1) at their headquarters building, excepting Ridgewood High School would have two (2) repeaters.
A District wide frequency, combined with an individual frequency for each repeater site (14 frequencies in total).
No FCC application is visible yet on fcc.gov. The District is currently authorized to use 462.800 (not sure what modes are authorized).
