I am getting a strong signal on RISCON East but I hear no one. Do I need a special audio to hear any transmissions? I did notice that it shows RISCON is Global Filter and NAC-190

Thank You.

Do you have it programmed as a trunked radio system? Using an SDS200? Are the applicable service types turned on for the talkgroups you want to hear? (reference "tag" column in RRDB)

if you clicked the link I gave you it tells you how to access / turn on service types
Select Service Types
Press Func then Zip/Services.
Scroll to each Service Type and press E/yes to enable or disable.

Which Frequency are you hearing? Your profile says you're in Windham County, so unless you're way up on a high hill, I am curious how you're receiving it. Remember in the scanners, that the RX meter is for ANY RF detected on a frequency. So if you have 8 trunk frequencies programmed in, and the scanner sees RF on one of them, regardless of whom, it'll show in the signal meter.
