Rockaway Twp PD/FD

The Police Dispatch & The FD Operations channel operate on the same frequency 154.785, & both have the same Color Code 8. When you download the group thru Sentinel it does not install the different TGID's as well as the different slots. You get Police traffic on the FD channel. Can anyone please help and explain if this can be programmed thru Sentinel? I don't see any area in the program to modify?

Unfortunately, you're going to have to enter that yourself in a custom favorite list as a DMR One Frequency Trunk so that you can define each TG separately by slot.

Doesn't Hunterdon County boom over Rockaway? Half of Hunterdon police traffic is carried on 154.785 and geographically close to Rockaway.

Thanks- I figured that was the case. I was trying to avoid the manual programming, but I guess Sentinel is
not really configured the way it should be

Nope! Rockaway has altitude advantage & the new DMR system seems to put out more power than the old analog.

Northern Hunterdon is flooded with Rockaway's signal. I can even hear Rockaway in the 'gorge' on RT 31 in Glen Gardner...

Rockaway’s system has always gotten out on VHF, even before DMR. I set up a temp repeater on VHF P25 up in White Meadow Lake a few years ago. Ran a Quantar through a DB-224 dipole and that thing was full quieting.
