Rockcastle County EMS

Anyone know Rocastle County EMS' new freq? They just started using it in the last week. Thier old freq was down and they had been using the county fire freq.

I just listened to the morning pager tests for the Rockcastle County Fire Depts... there is another freq licensed to the county but not listed in the rr.com data base as having been monitored... it is 155.84250 with the same call sign as the Rockcastle Fire Departments. I don't see any other freqs not in the rr.com data base except 155.28000 licensed to Rockcastle Hospital which could be used to dispatch them....

My pleasure wreckerman! Do you have a PL tone with that freq, is that to be the permanent freq for Rockcastle EMS? thanx for keeping your ears on down that way!

As far as I know its going to be permanent.This channel does have a tone when they page an ambulance out.

I'll load that one in too. I did find EMS on 155.835 the othe night, clear and loud.

Yes that guy was quite lucky. I understand he had no desire to go to the hospital but he got a helo ride anyway.

Another one that was being watched over was that man that was missing from London going to Berea. The land search for him lasted over 12 hours (at leat the search preformed by Rockcastle units.) In all there were 8 departments from Rockcastle, Garrard and Madison Counties involved.
