Making progress... :)

For the first time, today morning I ran a "Test Exam" at Ham Study website and passed the General Class with only 1 answer missed. :D

So I'm definitely making progress, BUT, to be honest, at several question points I only guessed. :-/

I have the most problems with the electrical power calculations and the circuit component segments, what's what, how they affect their values, etc, so there is a lot to learn and understand still, but luckily I have plenty of time till the exam date comes up.

In the last few days haven't had time to study at all, only last night I stayed up till about 3 am to read this stuff, but it still feels pretty hard.

However, I really enjoyed this first test exam and the success in the end, so I feel motivated to keep studying for a successful actual real exam. I'm not ready yet and I know that, there were way too many guesses and poses to think about the right answer, but I'm definitely getting closer to have the confidence that I WILL (!!!) get my General Class!

I can hardly wait!!! :)

Thank you, I'm doing my best. :)

One of my problem is memorizing all the different band limits and exact frequency allocations. I always mess them up.

Seriously (or not so seriously), for that reason alone I feel I should get the Extra class after this, so I wouldn't have to worry about all those limitations anymore! :D

But first thing first, let's just focus on this test. I would hate to fail for sure. :(

You are doing a great job at learning

the General test. You will succeed. And as you mentioned, do go for the extra!
My problem is the freq limits to remember. The ohm's law and circuit stuff is okay since my background is in electronics and electrical, (retired in both areas). But as Dave posted, there's lots of us here to help you when you need it.

ROUND #2 - KO!

ROUND #2 OVER with a full knock-out!

Passed the General Class Exam with PERFECT 100% score! :D

Wasn't easy for me, studied a lot and I wasn't sure about a couple of the questions, but I made it.

After this success, I MOST DEFINITELY want to go Round #3 for the Extra! :D
