Sorry. It’s as nice as I can be. If it’s not broken don’t break it. Where’s the use 1.0 button? I’m glad I finished the research for my June travels last Thursday when I was still able to use the 1.0 version.

You're acting like the data all disappeared...still there! Enjoy 2.0!

Yeah, sorry we left you in a lurch there. Glad we were able to get you all setup for your June travels.

My sincerest apologies that your ability to use the database died with the deprecation of "1.0" 😜

I noticed that county pages have buttons for
Grouped All New Show Repeater Inputs
but I don't see it on state agency pages.

I'm retracting some earlier complaints until I can investigate more fully. The most generalized one is that individual pages have larger print for less visible information. I have to search for stuff that I'm used to having easy access to.

The biggest practical glitch I see is that RRDB for Virginia does not have independent cities in its county menu--even though the cities are available when clicking on the map. Virginia cities are completely independent of counties, and some in the SE like Newport News, Suffolk, Chesapeake and Virginia Beach represent large county-sized tracts of land. (they are, in fact, the former counties of Warwick, Nansemond, Elizabeth City and Princess Anne)

I would encourage you to revisit the low-contrast color scheme. #000000 is so much better (easier to read) in the data tables.

FCC database is not fun to use here. First and foremost because there appears to be no way to browse a locality. The feature set that was on individual county & city FCC license pages was far better. You had one-stop shopping for any locality, and it was easy to compare RRDB data against FCC data. Now it appears to have to be searched separately. The proximity search is not a sufficient option.

Also, the RRDB for Virginia does not have independent cities in its county menu. Virginia cities are completely independent of counties, and some in the SE like Newport News, Suffolk, Chesapeake and Virginia Beach represent large county-sized tracts of land. 2.0 is very, very disappointing thus far.

Whoa my man. Everything you want and need is here... even better than before. If you want to browse FCC licenses for Virginia Counties or independent cities, simply click the menu and choose FCC licenses for the county. I think you might have glossed over that in the tour wizard for the county page. It's there. See the attached screenshot.

Also, I've fixed a small bug where we were not displaying independent cities for Virginia in the county list drop down. All fixed.

Please come back soon and tell us that "2.0 is very, very freaking awesome so far!"

I stand corrected on that, and updated my reply just before seeing that you'd responded--and thanks for doing so. I still feel like I'm sifting through a more menu layers, when I'd get more info from scrolling a page, but will reserve judgement on that right now. It does look like the sorting of FCC data has more options--and if that's the case, I really will owe you a 'freakin' awesome.'

Sorry for the hastiness--I'll continue to explore before complaining any further
