20 watts claimed output. That should be awesome for sinus infections... Pretty soon we'll be able to have Sidewalks On The Air. 😆

I thought it might be, but searching for information about RF exposure tests indicates 20 watts near the head is likely unsafe.20 watts claimed output. That should be awesome for sinus infections... Pretty soon we'll be able to have Sidewalks On The Air. 😆

But...but....20w is more power!!!

I found tons of details. Not going to try and post all that.
So, let's get the logic straight: you need a 20W HT because you don't like doing the Freddy Mercury pose trying to hit the repeater.
A friend of mine suggested that you should mount a 3-foot mini-tower to a hard hat and put the antenna on top of the HHT (hard hat tower).I thought it might be, but searching for information about RF exposure tests indicates 20 watts near the head is likely unsafe. <snip>

A sight often seen at big hamfests such as the Dayton Hamvention. I remember seeing one that had flashing LED clearance lights.A friend of mine suggested that you should mount a 3-foot mini-tower to a hard hat and put the antenna on top of the HHT (hard hat tower).
That's probably right. Like the 500 watt computer speakers. It probably only puts out 7 or 8 watts.
Part of the population control system. Fry there brains!20 watts claimed output. That should be awesome for sinus infections... Pretty soon we'll be able to have Sidewalks On The Air. 😆

Where did this image come from?Have you been surprised before..?

On the other hand, if you only use it at 5watts and no more, imagine the battery capacity you'd have as well as the longevity of the final transistor...20 watts claimed output. That should be awesome for sinus infections... Pretty soon we'll be able to have Sidewalks On The Air. 😆
