Hi everybody, I did a deep search in order to avoid this post but in the very end all the informations gathered got me confused.
I am experiencing some issues in decoding digital emissions with the set RTL-USB + DSDplus FastLane.
I am surprised because I was quite successful by using the same set-up, controlled through SDRShrp and for some reasons apparently I am no longer able to decode.
I tried different settings of bandwidth and order, I'm not using filters and have followed the main suggestions shared here and on other sources.
Anybody noticed or is experiencing the same ? Would it be the quality of the USB Dongle (which was used to work properly) ?
Thank you for sharing your suggestions and experiences.

I would suggest keeping it simple by running FMP24 and DSD+ via the FMP24-CC.bat and 1R.bat files.

Use DSD+ to make a raw audio sample of a signal that isn't decoding well.

I'd also read the Notes.txt file entry regarding FMP24 and dropped I/Q samples to determine if that's an issue on your PC.

I am not that skilled, quite amatorial as an approach.
I am also looking for a guide of DSD because I am sure I am losing the benefit of many features and in order to understand all the indications flowing (Cach, CSBK, Data, Idle, TypeC, and so on).But I am still stucked in the Windows garden, fully aware that by widening the expertise to Linux environment I would get more exciting results.
I am waiting a new dongle, AIRSPY, with the hope that the tech specs might enhance the expectations. For instance I did not remember that DSD had that latency in refreshing the modulation indication once I switch on a different frequency (e.g. if have an indication of DMR CC 5 on a frequency, once changed it take a lot of time, if any, to provide the new one, so I can read in the black dos window some RAW data indicating a DRM CC 1 but still on the other window I keep reading the previous frequency parameters).

Filter is disabled, what do you suggest for the RF gain ? I think this might be an option to explore. as well as the sample value

You should just run fmp24 in parallel with dsdplus instead of sdrsharp for more reliable decoding

I need to get more familiar with FMP24 as an option, since I don't understand hwo to handle the frequency with command lines.

Thank you all.

Based on your suggestions I realized that the issue is related with the latest versions of SDRSharp (DSDPlus is downperforming. Is very low in detecting the change of Color Code on different DMR frequencies and is definiltely not decoding any digital mode station).

Yesterday I have verified that the version of SDRSharp #1702 is doing an excellent job but I can only use RTL-USB as it doesn't support the AIRSPY R2 which I have received yesterday and is basically unuseful for my purpose.

Anybody else noticed the same issue ? did anybody solved in some manner or is it necessary to involve the software developer ? (I don't know how to deal in this case).

It's such a pity because SDR# in the latest versions has excellent features but I cannot use with AIRSPY as expected.

This is not true....sdrsharp is specifically built for use with Airspy receivers.
Whilst I generally prefer sdrsharp v.1700 I also have v.1811 on a few PCs and each is used with Airspy R2's for UHF purposes

1702 does not accept the R2, is there any manoeuvre I can do to install properly ?

Ok, maybe I found the issue. The SDRSharp 1802 without the plugins works properly with the DSDPlus Fastlane.
Probably an issue introduced with the plugin package.
No everything goes smooth, it's perfect.
