SAME-type Radio Alerts for urgent Evacuation

I guess I'm a sad person too.
Mine is off for the same reason. Yet I still hear about every Amber alert on the news, Twitter, and freeway message signs.
Not losing any sleep over it (anymore).

I work as a Volunteer in Police Service (as a dispatcher in their SAR van) and could only encourage you turn it back on. That information with a public response is often very helpful (and possible a life safe) for the SAR agencies.
