today I am hearing comm center fire disp. on system 8 with the control channel on 852.8375 and voice channels 853.6875 and 852.3375.

Thank you but 852.8375 is listed as a P25 frequency on the east valley system - the Redlands cell. It's full strength. Are you hearing this as an analog CC?

1 (1) 020 (14) East Valley Simulcast San Bernardino 770.33125 771.35625 771.60625a 772.58125c 851.1875 851.6875 852.1125 852.3375 852.8375 853.1125

Interestingly, System 4 is P25 digital and located on Paxton Hill. They have 5 frequencies. They were just dispatched to a working structure fire (cancelled) and as I've noted by listening on BCDV2R simulcast they are digital garbled. Hmm...

I am looking forward to the completion of the changeover but wish that they were going to continue the analog simulcast. I'm cheap.

FWIW, on the 6-system, the control channels are simply 45mhz lower than the previous ones listed in the DB (this follows the standard nationwide rebanding change)...
so, take these that are listed in RED and drop 45...
https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=336

Do you mean 15MHz? 45MHz is the step between input and output frequencies.

I'm not sure what's going on in San Bernardino county, seems like all the old analog systems got rebanded at once and the new P25 system is slowly coming together with all users switching over to it. Hopefully as we all monitor we can get the changes and get the RR database correct. I'll be listening this weekend at work out here in Joshua Tree and see what I can find out and back in Hesperia to see what's new in the High Desert areas.

You sir, are the example of what makes RR work:

1. News posted in the forums.
2. Users like yourself who go verify.
3. Then submit updates for the database.

Thank you from all of us!!!

System 8 appears to only have three frequencies and the CC rotates. I have all three entered but cannot get a CC lock or system lock. There must be frequencies missing. I added the new CC's to the old system 8 but no CC or system lock. Although I hear on BDCV2R what I am hearing on the two working frequencies on 800. I don't know if by design or not but system 8 is covering system 4, 5, Baker fill-in... CC 852.8375 is listed as a P25 CC.

Thanks to everyone for the efforts! I was wondering what happened lately. Seems to be working.
I'm using the same talk group I.D. numbers and it looks to be good.
Guess we're still out of luck with San Bernardino county sheriff being encrypted. I really miss that.

South Desert / Mountains console patch

I don't know if by design or not but system 8 is covering system 4, 5.

Yes, it's intentional. They have one dispatcher covering the mountain areas and the "South desert / River" areas. They patch via the dispatch console systems 8, 4, and 5 (and VHF: BDC V2 and BDC V4). This patch has been in place since San Bernardino City FD joined County Fire a couple years ago.
