It this a radio that can pick San Diego City system. I have try to tune it in for like the last 2 months. When i try and see if i get it i am disappointed because it is not working for me. I put all the info in and then when i listen is sound like i am not tune in right. All the other system i have in the radio work great. The city system is the only one i have trouble with.

Did you set the system as a 'splinter' system? If you didn't, you'll be off 12.5 KHz.

Yes the 785 works with the San Diego system.
Use control channel trunking plan 3.
Skip, the 785 doesn't use the terminology "splinter system"

In Blythe, depending on the antenna, you may be too far away to hear the SD City system.

Can you hear the control channel well in conventional mode? From the tone of your posts, I am wondering how you have programmed your radio; did you have someone else do it for you and/or use a program to download the info? If you do receive "all the other system(s)" as you say, do you mean that you can receive the SD County RCS and or the Riverside EDACS TRS, as well as all of the conventional (i.e. CHP, Riverside County Fire, CDF, etc.)?

For an inside antenna or even a low level external antenna the SD City system might be problematic to receive from Blythe.
