I work just southeast of OAK airport within the commercial airline flight path. We had quite a few Blue Angl flyovers yesterday afternoon but unfortunately, I didn't have my scanner. If I remember, I bring my scanner after lunch and see what I can hear. -Maybe not the air boss but I'd think I should be able to hear the flight transmissions. I'll report back if I hear anything.

cool thanks for the ICAO info! ok that makes sense re: 122.475, I heard traffic there and figured it was safe to assume it wasn't P-51 action
Also heard some traffic on 126.800

yep! Put that in the scanner yesterday but today was the first time I heard traffic. Again, south part of the city so that may factor in.

I'll be in town this weekend and looking forward to some show traffic with a BC128AT and earpiece. I won't bring the 396 in-case I get denied entry into a ship tour or something with that on me. The 128 is priced to part with if forced to. When I booked the hotel room I thought the airshow was the previous weekend so didn't focus on room direction but I totally could have had an amazing view from Nob Hill...but the spouse may have thrown me and my radio out the window.

Hah! I was wondering what would have happened if FW had been last weekend. It hit about 96F in some parts of the city on Sunday and wasn't much cooler on Saturday. I know that fog sometimes prevents the more extreme displays, but do they ever call off a display for excessive heat? lift issues, etc?

I hear a flyover but couldn't get outside fast enough. Didn't hear any radio traffic though. Not very courteous on their part I'll have to say.

I did hear a bit, I think directions to the display area (the Tuning Fork?). Right now you can hear the usual 'a litttlllle pullllll, rollllling out" from the BAs

I've got 235.250 programmed into my scanner as AM but I'm getting some type of digital modulation on it

I was a bit late to the party and missed Fat Albert, but here are some recordings I got from my SDS-200 monitoring the three BA show freqs:
