i know there is only 3 frequencys for that site but whats it for i only here lexington fire most of the time on it and every now and then i here lexington hwy thats about it but i here that every know and then i just hear lexington fire most of the time any 1 know what the site is for any ways

It is to cover the St. Matthews/Calhoun County area better. You will hear the Orangeburg HP Channel 98 and 99 when they are in the area (ie) traffic stop or working accident in 129-119 mile marker area. I can monitor it from Orangeburg most of the time. I hear Lexington EMS dispatch, Lexington FD, and Highway patrol mostly. Calhoun County is staying away from the 800 system. I have been told by one of the managers in Calhoun County that they are not switching until they are mandated to switch. So I suspect that this site will be rather slow for a while. More and more HP activity on it since the major accidents are occurring in this area.
