as the dnr vhf repeaters fail or need more parts i think is when they will start switching fully to palmetto 800 but at the moment it seems they have started to switch. they are currently using their ops and statewide channels as dispatch. i have also heard some traffic on
27416 | 6B18 | Ch 6. York, Chester, Clarendon, Fairfield, Lee, Kershaw | De
27417 | 6B19 | Ch 7. Chesterfield, Marlboro, Darlington | De

27420 | 6B1C | Ch 10. Richland, Lexington, Newberry, Saluda | De |
but all of the traffic on these channels has been fully encrypted while in the clear on ops and statewide talk groups as stated in post #22. i have been hearing a lot of traffic on the palmetto 800 talkgroups then on vhf but there is still some vhf traffic. i wonder if they are going to switch and then keep the vhf system as a backup or take the vhf system down completely after the switch.
