To anyone looking to acquire commercial radio programming software:
Please do not make requests for copies of radio programming software which is sold (or was sold) by the manufacturer for any monetary value. All requests will be deleted and a forum infraction issued. Making a request such as this is attempting to engage in software piracy and this forum cannot be involved or associated with this activity. The same goes for any private transaction via Private Message. Even if you attempt to engage in this activity in PM's we will still enforce the forum rules. If you are having trouble legally obtaining software please state so. We do not want any hurt feelings when your vague post is mistaken for a free request. It is YOUR responsibility to properly word your request.
To obtain Motorola software see the Sticky in the Motorola forum.
The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate; just purchase it.
For M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola).

Im using it in Beta. It misses a lot of traffic compared to my APX8000.

If the original poster is asking about monitoring two systems at the same time, I believe that Unication representatives have said that the technology isn't out there yet. The best we can do currently is monitor two systems individually in a scanning environment where the unit will switch from one system's control channel to the other with the minimum hang time of one second.
In using this feature, I have missed traffic on one or the other systems and, rightly so because the unit needs time to find the second control channel after dropping the first one.

I take it you have the version 1.4 beta firmware to be able to do this?

Yes sir, I did but had to revert back to v1.3. My pager would operate fine for about two days and then the audio would mute. I had to revert back to v1.3 to for the pager to operate properly again. This only happened the three times I would try to run v1.4.

Yes I remember reading your posts about that. So in 1.3 firmware, I didn't know the pager would drop one control channel to scan to another by itself. How did you set it up to do that?

Only in the v1.4 firmware is this possible. The pager switches from one system's control channel to the other. You will miss traffic because the pager cannot scan both systems simultaneously.

To the OP. The only way to do this efficiently is to have 2 radios. It gives you an excuse to buy another one.

I have the beta 1.4 firmware installed and the ability to scan more than a one trunked system does NOT exist on my G4.
Sure I can create/program everything in the PPS. However when it comes to the actual pager once I choose Trunking Free Scan the Pager TG List and User Define Scan can't be chosen/selected (so nothing I created in the PPS is available within the pager).

Be SURE your knob pos are tg scan and not tg MONITOR.If you have one set as monitor change it to scan and just add wildcard TG to that system.

Correct. No issues in reverting back from v1.4 to v1.3 or even as far back as v1.17.

There's a handful of us out here with the same issue - a guy on on the FaceBook group posted an identical video showing the issue, so I'm hoping a revised beta solves it. Hopefully, Unication has been listening us?
