Scanner Freq.

I'm new tyo the scanner world, jsut pick up my dad's scanner and I trying to 'figure out where to find local freq. bands for my area. Rockwall Tx

What model scanner is it? Bearcat? Realistic? Pro-? (another name used by Radio Shack)

The manuals for many of them are available online and can be downloaded.

But... The PRO-41 is not a Trunking Scanner, It will not work for your Trunked System-
