Agreed. But you guys know this thread is a year old already. Kingras, now that you're a sophomore, has anything changed? Have you worked things through? What kinds of problems or difficulties have you faced? D'ja ever get your ham license?

Don't worry about us cranky geezers. You'll figure it out on your own and pretty soon, you can be cranky, too :wink: It happens before you even notice it.

Yes some things have changed. I have gotten some friends into the hobby about 3 almost 4 now. I'm have not yet gotten my ticket yet because I have been to busy to get to my local amateur radio clubs meetings but will hopefully be getting it very soon. But regarding my school, I still get comments but nothing more and I will be talking about starting a club up if I can find a volunteer or someone to help me.
