Good morning, I am programming a scanner for a family friend who is preparing for a road trip from Kansas to Florida. They plan on stopping in Paducah for a weekend and would like to have Paducah PD programmed into their scanner.

While gathering all of the frequencies I found the Paducah Public Safety trunking system, which I found to be a little confusing.

The database has the TGs marked as analog, however at the top of the page the system type is a Motorola Type II Smartnet and system voice is "Analog and APCO-25 Common Air Interface".

I wanted to confirm that this is in fact an analog Motorola Type II system and it has not transitioned to digital.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

As far as I know, it is still analog according to a very good contact in the area.
