I'm not 100% where I'm suppose to put this so please forgive if wrong place.

Was curious is it possible to connect the SDS200 to the Scanner Radio app? I mean if I go to the app and look for my scanner.

If so how would I go about doing this?
Sorry for the newbie questions 😔.

Scanner App? Only one I know of is 5-0 Radio on my phone. Why not just use the scanner? I'm not being critical, just curious what you're trying to do.

Scanners or sdr software stream to the web and can be heard on apps and streaming services. You can not connect a scanner to an app and have the app broadcast over your scanner.

It's that.

What I would like to do is have My SDS200 connected to the net so I can listen to my scanner anywhere using the Scanner Radio app.

Sorry I meant say have the SDS200 connected to the net and use apps like the Scanner Radio app to look up my scanner and listen to it away from home when I want to.

While I have not done this myself, I have heard of people using the app Zello or ProScan to accomplish remote listening to their scanners.

You could become a feed provider for Broadcastify and then we could *all* listen to your scanner.
I think I tried that once wasn't accepted when I filled the application out, they said my area already had enough for Easton,Pa. Northampton County.

Unless ya mean somthing else?

RadioFeed will do exactly what you're looking for. Part of the Proscan family. Just setup your router to port forward and then connect to your internal address (192.168.x.x:port#) or external (72.x.x.x:port# for instance) if you're out and about, for your scanner feed. I've used it and it works great. Only thing you may have to figure out, depending on your phone type is the annoying loss of feed connection when your screen times out.

I have the Samsung S23 Ultra.
If I used Proscan would I get the loss of feed connection? Also silly question would my feed be realtime or would there be somthing like a delay like with example Flight Radar heard the flights on that are a few min delay.

Thank you for the help.

I changed a setting on my Samsung A42 to correct it. Can't remember which one right now but I'll look into it. The feed is real-time. No delay like going through Broadcastify with an app.
