I current have all except one bank of my BC-250D scanner used, although I have plenty of free channels left over. I want to add more trunked systems into my channel, but with only one bank left I am limited as far as what I can put in. I'm trying to figure out if there is a better way I can organize the banks or if it's time to get a second scanner.

Here is the setup that I have. I have trunked systems programmed for two states (VA and FL). I spend time in both states, so I want to keep those systems programmed in the scanner. There are 5 systems programmed for VA and 2 systems programmed for FL. I then have 1 conventional bank for non trunked radio communications in my area. There is also another conventional bank that I am using as a bank for storing air frequencies.

Any suggestions on what I could do?

I doubt that anyone can answer that question. It's really up to you. I have my scanner set up like this. 1 bank police / 1 bank fire / 1 bank ems, medical helicopters / 1 bank govt. ie, forest, parks, wildlife etc. / 1 bank very rare & never heard / 1 bank open to program as needed.
