I found a quick and inexpensive scanner stand that you probably already have in your house,the thin sheet metal book ends that cost a couple of bucks at the local drug store or walmart work great for your portables. Bend back the vertical piece to suit your application, about 30 degrees works for me, they have foam on bottom so you dont scratch furniture, you can easily adapt several different radios to the different size bookends and also push the buttons without the radio sliding across your table. give it a try!
