A big thanks to every member who responded to this thread. I tried all your suggestions and gradually worked my way toward the final solution. It is a moot point as to what caused this and why the radio stopped working correctly right around the time the latest ProScan update was loaded into the scanner. There were other problems with the scanner as well. They all were likely due to my cognitive condition and not being a techy. I'm lucky to have so many techies that responded, trying to solve my problem. Again, thanks everyone!
